The clip-in tail (also called a tail toupee or interchangeable tail) is perfect for shows and competitions.
With the clip-in tail you get a beautiful tail extension for your horse in no time.

The biggest advantage, of course, is that the tail toupee can also be used for several horses of the same color.
The tail toupee can be used for years with proper care.

The clip-in tail with a fabric loop

This clip-in tail has a cotton loop at the top and a natural flow of the hair.  The hair is knotted in layers, so the tail immediately flares out wider from the top.

This clip-in tail:

• Weighs 170 grams
• Is 72-76 cm long

All clip-in tails are made of 100% real horse hair.

Does your horse have a different color? Don't worry! We can supply almost any color. You can also send us a photo of the tail so we can determine the right color together.

We have most clip-in tails in stock. If a tail is not in stock, delivery takes approximately 14 days.

Fitting and caring for the clip-in tail

The interchangeable tail with a fabric loop is quick and easy to attach in the hair.

You simply secure the interchangeable tail with a few braids to your own horse's tail. This gives the tail much more volume.

In the beginning it is important to keep in mind that an interchangeable tail can feel strange to the horse. So always let your horse get used to walking with its new tail a few times beforehand.

You can comb, care for and wash the tail toupee like a real tail.

Tail bag

Our tail bags are specially made to protect your Thef clip-in tail.

The bag is made of sustainable cotton and made to measure.
The front has a zip and the top of the tail bag has a loop to hang the bag up.
Inside there is a hook where you can hang the tail.

This protects your clip-in tail from dust and dirt, and you'll enjoy it for years!
